1. All ordinary people aim at what they CAN. Extraordinary people do what they SHOULD.
That which you can do is something within your comfort zone. What you ought to do on the other hand may not be as comfortable but it is the only way you can step up a notch.
Your current position is a reflection of what you 'can' and 'have' done. Your future lies in that which you should do.
2. You are already that which you can be. You have to go the extra mile to be that which you should be
You can only realize the depth of your potential and ability when you make a decision to push yourself the extra mile. Exercise dedication, hard work and strategic implementation in all that you do.
3. Too many people wait till death for "favourable conditions"
Procrastination can destroy a dream before it even begins. "Time and tide wait for no man," act whilst you are still able and grab opportunities as they come.
A favourable condition is what you make of the situation. Pursue your dream despite any bad weather.
4. If ever you are going to draw a line, go beyond the sand and engrave it on stone
Millions of people have at one time in their lives left footprints by the sea shore. However, with time waves have washed over the prints and today there is no evidence of it.
All ordinary actions disappear along with rest that have been done throughout the years. They are swept away by the waves of mediocrity.
To be extraordinary, stretch your reach beyond the moderate. Dedicate yourself to excellence and never settle for less.
5. You can't live for past memories, live to create future landmarks
Past decisions and actions are reason for whatever is present. If our past is better than what we are right now then we made poor decisions in the past. We should always plan for a better tomorrow so that each day is a step above the previous.
6. Hard work adds the 'extra' to 'ordinary'
You cannot be called 'extraordinary' when your work ethic is nothing beyond ordinary. Tactful planning and hard work very often bring out the extraordinary in any individual.
